Sad news from our Yachtsman family.  My assistant for the past 12 years, Sarah "Sally" Wilson, passed away on November 7th, 2007.  She was a bright light to all that knew her and will be missed by all.

Could not get over the size of the unit! It was unbelievably clean and the decor was very suitable for Cape Cod. Felt like home!  The pool was nice, clean. Grounds were very well kept, very professional! The beach needs an occasional morning combing but was nice, larger than originally thought. Harbor and boats were beautiful!  Staff was helpful on the phone and in person.  Very nice area and access to everything that we needed minutes away.  The first thing that we thought of when entering unit #109 was "When are we making our next trip to the Cape and stay here?".

Very well maintained, feel very safe. Helpful and caring staff. Great location for Hyannis Center, also for touring. I will recommend this accommodation to my travel agent on return to Scotland.

We loved the unit and it's convenience to the beach and pool.  The condo was very clean and provided all the amenities we required.  It is clear that the owners are a family oriented couple as we are.  Very pretty complex with great people. It seemed like there was always someone working to make it nice, trash, landscaping etc.  We had a wonderful vacation and will most definitely return. The occupants and staff were very friendly and helpful. My only suggestion would be to have the pool open earlier than 10am. For early risers half of the day is over by then.

We love it here. Favorite vacation each year! the staff are the nicest people, they are a pleasure to deal with. This is our 9th summer here at the Yachtsman in unit #143. We hope to be coming for many more years to come.

We were amazed at the fact that it was so well equipped.  We cooked most of our meals in the condo so we were happy to find all utensils necessary. Linens were plentiful, furniture very comfortable. Best of all was the view of the Yacht Club out of our dining room window.  A great show every evening!  We can't believe our luck at finding the perfect place on the Internet.

The unit was nicely decorated with bright colors and beautiful pictures of Cape Cod.  The staff was great with questions and suggestions on sights and restaurants.  I was pleasantly surprised by the great locations of the condos.  They were close to the ferries, downtown and restaurants with all of this in walking distance if we chose to walk.

We are certainly counting the days until our return visit.  The convenience, ambiance and amenities of the Yachtsman cannot be found at any price, anywhere on Cape Cod.

To anyone considering a late summer/early fall visit to Cape Cod, here are the feelings of a Cape Cod lover who is also a unit owner here at the Yachtsman.

For the past fifteen years this New England native has revisited his own property (Yachtsman #100) during the off season because it is truly a "value" season. He goes on to say that is much easier to get into restaurants and that there are no waiting lines for the island ferries. The weather is usually very attractive and for this Cape Cod lover the ocean temperature is very comfortable well into the fall.

I am a very avid fisherman, and every fisherman is aware that the fall season is much more dynamic and result producing than the warmer summer months of July and August.

Following Thanksgiving, a good number of establishments that are located on the "Outer Cape" are closed for the season, but just about everything is open in Hyannis and the Mid-Cape area.  Trust me on this one, driving around the Cape is much easier then in the summer.  The change of season in the early fall is marked by the colorful fall foliage which last longer here on the Cape then is does in northern New England.

These are just a few of the reasons why I love to visit Cape Cod during the late summer/early fall.
